Bootcamp Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms govern your enrolment in and participation in any UstackSchool bootcamp or cohort-based programme (a “Programme”). By enrolling, paying, or attending, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
UstackSchool is operated by Ustack Technologies Limited (“UstackSchool”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England & Wales, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. You can reach us at hello@ustackschool.com.
2. Enrolment and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to enrol.
- Enrolment is confirmed once we receive your completed registration and your payment (or your first instalment) has cleared, and we send you a confirmation.
- You are responsible for providing accurate registration details and for keeping your contact information up to date.
- A place in a cohort is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the cohort is full.
3. Programme delivery and cohorts
- Programmes run as scheduled cohorts with published start dates, durations, and where applicable a Work Experience Residency phase.
- Delivery is primarily online and self-paced with live elements (sessions, mentorship, reviews). Specific formats, schedules, tools, mentors and content may change to improve the Programme or for operational reasons.
- We may substitute facilitators, adjust the timetable, or update curriculum content without reducing the overall value of the Programme.
4. Attendance, participation and completion
- Programmes are outcome-driven and require your active participation — attending sessions, completing assignments, and engaging with your cohort and mentors.
- Certificates or statements of completion are issued only to participants who meet the stated completion requirements.
- We do not guarantee any specific job, salary, interview, visa, or other career outcome. Outcomes depend on your effort, background, and factors outside our control.
5. Fees and payment
Fees, currencies, instalment options and accepted payment methods are set out on the relevant Programme page and in our Payment Policy, which forms part of these terms. Early-bird pricing applies until the published deadline, after which late-registration pricing applies automatically.
6. Cancellations, refunds, deferrals and transfers
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Payment Policy.
- Where a cohort has not yet started, you may request to defer to a later cohort or transfer your place to another eligible person, subject to availability and any administrative fee stated at the time.
- Once the Programme has commenced, deferrals and refunds are at our discretion and may be limited to exceptional circumstances.
7. Code of conduct
You agree to behave professionally and respectfully towards facilitators, mentors, peers, partners and staff. Harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, cheating, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the Programme without a refund. Our decision in matters of conduct is final.
8. Intellectual property and your work
- All Programme materials — curriculum, videos, templates, assessments and platforms — are the intellectual property of UstackSchool or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use only. You may not copy, record, resell, share or redistribute them.
- You retain ownership of the original work and portfolio pieces you personally create during the Programme, and you may use them for your own portfolio and job search.
- You grant us a non-exclusive licence to reference anonymised or agreed examples of your work and outcomes for teaching, quality and marketing purposes, where you have consented.
9. Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Access to Programme platforms and communities is personal to you and must not be shared. We may suspend access for non-payment or breach of these terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UstackSchool is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, opportunity, or earnings. Our total liability arising out of a Programme is limited to the fees you paid for that Programme. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Marketing communications are optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.
12. Changes, termination and governing law
- We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you enrol applies to that enrolment.
- We may end your participation for serious or repeated breach of these terms.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
